Refreshing juice that can be a great way to start your day. consists of beets, oranges, cucumber, and celery.

vegan – gluten free – organic raw


tools we use


  • knife and cutting board

  • juicer

  • optional microplane or zester


things you need


  • 3 large organic red beets

  • 1 organic lemon

  • 2 organic oranges

  • 1 large organic cucumber

  • 3 stalks of organic celery

here’s how


  • prep the beets by cleaning and cutting off the tops and bottoms

  • prep the lemon and oranges by cutting off the peel and pith (the white part under the peel)

  • cut up all veggies and fruit so it will fit your juicer

  • some juicers (particularly the centrifuge type) won't process whole stalks of celery well because of the long fibrous strings.

  • to avoid processing issues chop up the celery widthwise (shorter strings)

  • juice all ingredients














helpful notes


  • remove as much lemon pith as possible (some pith is ok to leave on, but too much will give a bitter taste to the juice)

  • keep some of the lemon rind for a finishing twist or, even better, zest the lemon for a nice finishing topper (one lemon will give you about 1 tbsp zest)

  • you can juice the beets first and set the pulp aside to use in other recipes
