2 c hot water
2 c room temp water
2.5 c organic unsweetened medium shredded coconut
here’s how
heat water to a boil
put hot water and all coconut into a high speed blender, let sit for a couple of minutes
add room temperature water
blend on high for two minutes
strain the mixture using a nut milk bag or several layers of cheesecloth
helpful notes
be careful when blending hot liquids, make sure the lid is on tight
I let the mixture cool a little bit after pouring into the nut milk bag, during this time it strains itself quite a bit
plan to use up your milk within one week
